Forklift drivers at Buttle’s St Albans branch have received an early Christmas present. Bone-shaking rides over a potholed yard surface are now a thing of the past after a major resurfacing project was completed over the weekend (26-27 November). Around 700 square metres of  motorway-grade asphalt were laid by Bestco Surfacing of Waltham Cross, Herts. This will improve safety in the yard and reduce damage to mechanical handling equipment. This is the latest in a series of improvements at St Albans branch, which this year have included new delivery vehicles, timber racking and signage.
