There was a record turn-out for Buttle’s annual fishing day at Allders Fishery, Brickhill on Thursday 8 September, sponsored by Brett Martin.

The winner with a catch of 131lbs was Jeremy Attwood from Harlington’s. Second-placed angler with a catch of 128lbs 8oz  and the biggest fish weighing 8lbs 9oz was Ken Burrows from Winterwell. Nick Joiner from Fairoak was third with 108lbs 7oz.
